Default favorite comic thats not a movie

I know a lot of people say they're comic fans because they wikipedia a character before the movie comes out. Well their not fans. You know who you are. I wanna know what your favorite comic is that hasn't been adapted into a movie. So none of the generic constants like spider man, hulk, xmen, ect. Something off the beaten path.

Mine would be Moon Knight. He's a badass and I think his story is one of the lost gems of the Marvel universe. An extremely close second is Thanos. While he never had his own book perse, he is an awesome character. One of the best bad guys I've ever read. Infinity Gauntlet is awesome.

Don't forget who introduced you to Coheed and to the comics Trousey.

But I will have to agree with my student here. Amory Wars will be a great movie, when I inevitably direct it. There is so much potential in the comics alone that the comic itself has such great cinematic scope. There is enough of everything in the comics to satisfy a lot of people and many potential new fans.

Also if done correctly The Astonishing X-Men would be a great movie to see.
